Beau swap de transmission mais pas si performant que je l'aurais pensé.

Hi guys
that's my ride in the video
camera was being held by the headrest on the passenger side
I was not pushing the car as much as I could have
the video does not show torque, but I still get thrown back in my seat in 3rd. It's a great change !!
now I have to find some crazy person to make cams and pulleys for me
m'excuse, mon francais et pas forte ...

for your cams and pulley, ask noredline. You cannot be wrong with this guy.

Tk ... Beau Swap c'est certain
it's not an easy swap
first, try to find a 5 speed manual legend 86-90 ... with a good tranny, clutch, flywheel and syncros

then strip out everything, engine, tranny, axels, shafts, rods, tranny mounts, engine mounts ...
then shave of a chunk of intermediate shaft, shave off a corner of the stationary axel hole, then make custom driveshafts since legend ones are too short and accord ones
anyways, there is a lot of work to do
BTW : I'm the one who sent that info to metric exr like 2 years ago

I have no doubt about the fact that it's a lot of hard work.
It's nice to see things being done to this car "5th gen v6"
I remember when I had mine, getting a simple cold air intake was a great challenge of information gathering and I was far from having the possibility to do this kind of engine swap
I'll try finding the post I made for the swap of a manual tranny in a 6th gen v6 ... I kinda based my reflection on your swap on it ...
Nonetheless ... great work
... be sure to post some pics when your spring cleaning is done
